We are delighted to announce that EveryCity has been accredited as a Living Wage Employer.
Our commitment to the Living Wage Movement will ensure that everyone working at EveryCity, regardless of whether they are direct employees or third-party contracted staff, receive a minimum hourly wage of £8.75 in the UK and £10.20 in London. Both rates are significantly higher than the statutory minimum for over 25s of £7.50 per hour introduced in April, 2017.
The real Living Wage is an hourly rate that is calculated independently and is set annually to reflect the real cost of living. So far 150,000 people across the UK have gained a pay rise as a result of the real Living Wage scheme.
On receiving the accreditation, EveryCity’s CEO, Alasdair Lumsden said, “We believe it’s important to ensure that all employees are paid a real living wage, so are delighted to join an expanding movement of companies making this commitment.”
Part of our commitment as a Living Wage employer is to promote Living Wage Foundation membership throughout our business network of suppliers and clients and hope they will join us in the summer to celebrate Living Wage Week.
