With plans to make a big difference within a rapid timescale, MQ hopes to achieve very fast growth in their supporter base, but working in uncharted territory, the future is unpredictable. They needed a managed service provider who would offer a flexible solution and be adaptable to whatever conditions might arise.
We have a sense that we can just leave it in your hands and when we have a million other things to worry about when we’re growing a small charity it’s nice to have that peace of mind.
Tom McCarthy, Digital Communications Manager , MQ: Transforming Mental Health
EveryCity was engaged following a competitive tender process, and we were judged not only to meet MQ’s need for flexibility and a partnership approach and on our experience in the charity sector, but also the technical requirements of their digital agency, Wilson Fletcher.
Wilson Fletcher’s requirement was for a highly scalable infrastructure with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI:CD) capabilities.
We architected an IaaS AWS solution employing CloudFormation which we found to be the most suitable choice, despite the complexity of the infrastructure. Jenkins was used in conjunction with AWS Code Deploy to effectively remove the need for human intervention at the hosting layer – the ultimate goal of the CI:CD system and DevOps teams.
