Business Development Executive

EveryCity are currently looking for a Business Development Executive, someone who is target oriented, incredibly driven and enthusiastic, with a genuine passion for finding new business opportunities.

For you to succeed in this role, you must be an enthusiastic and experienced lead generator / hunter and possess a hunger to succeed, coupled with a superb and engaging phone manner. Ideally you will have knowledge of the Cloud / MSP / CSP space.

Using your skills as an excellent communicator, you will be targeted to find new opportunities and prospects who are looking to either make their first move into the Cloud or improve their current Cloud strategy.

This is a 100% new lead generation role to begin with. You will be working closely with the Head of Sales and the Account Development Team who will work your opportunities to their conclusion. Demonstrate your ability to achieve your targets and consistently find great new opportunities and you will enjoy a competitive and flexible commission package. Keep doing well and internal promotions will be encouraged!


  • Have experience in cold calling & lead generation within a technology sector, ideally Cloud.
  • Have the tenacity, creativity, personality & motivation to stand out in a very busy and exciting business.
  • Working with Head of Sales to continually develop your skills to ensure success.
  • Use applied intelligence – you must realise the benefits of knowing your target audience.
  • To ensure you consistently hit your call targets and ensure the highest possible quality results.
  • Attending relevant sales meetings where required.
  • Be an active contributor towards new business activity and lead generation campaigns.
  • Assist and support Head of Sales and Account Management as and when requested.
  • To work in harmony with the Pre Sales and Services Delivery teams to ensure professional, accurate and well delivered solutions are well executed and implemented.

  • Experience using CRM tools for tracking and record updates.
  • You must have a strong understanding and experience of inside sales/ telemarketing and opportunity generation.
  • Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Google GSuite.
  • Excellent communication skills and phone manner, you must be articulate and consultative as well as a closer.
  • Attention to detail is key.
  • Be a quick learner and understand the features and benefits of our products.
  • You must have the ability to appreciate and work within brand guidelines.


  • A good understanding of the MSP, hosting and/or cloud technology industries is advantageous.
