Interxion's carrier-netural datacenter provides us with the latest highly secure, scalable infrastructure for hosting mission-critical IT systems. In addition we operate out of a former MOD facility, The Bunker, in Kent for offsite backups and monitoring and a Disaster Recovery facility in Manchester.
Interxion have 24x7x365 on-site security, and are fully CCTV monitored both on-site and from their European Customer Service Centre. The facility makes use of the latest security technologies including Man Traps, Proximity Cards, and Biometric Readers. Interxion are also ISO27001 certified for Information Security.
Fully redundant power distribution is provided, with 2N UPS Redundancy and N+1 Diesel Generators. Each piece of equipment in EveryCity's facilities is fed by two diverse power feeds from two separate PDUs, via two separate UPS rooms and two separate Diesel Generator sets.
Our datacentre operates on a Carrier Neutral principle, hosting over 70 carriers, ISPs and CDNs. Interxion are host to both the London Internet Exchange and LONAP peering points, of which EveryCity is both a member.
The datacentre is powered by 100% renewable energy, and a phased modular architecture is employed to optimise power usage effectiveness. Interxion operate to the highest energy efficiency standards, and are committed to the use of sustainable energy such as free cooling, ground water cooling and waste heat re-use.
